Your WhatsApp and contact details stay private by default. They are shared only after you give explicit consent.
WhatsApp and other contact details are stored in a private, row-level secured contact settings table. They are never stored in the globally readable profile.
Sharing is off by default. Your WhatsApp number becomes visible to other members only when you turn on the option that allows Mission participants to contact you on WhatsApp.
When you enable sharing, your number is exposed through a controlled lookup in eligible Mission contexts, such as the Mission owner contact card. Your WhatsApp number must use the international format, for example +46701234567. You can turn sharing off at any time.
